Is this normal? I have had this York unit looked at numerous times. Last year while getting quotes to replace everything, I had several installers check the system operation. One guy said it's low, another said it's fine. My normal repair guy said it was operating fine but is undersized for the house. Now this year, I don't remember this noise. It sounds like fluid is flowing through the small copper line. It gets warm but no where near hot. The insulated line doesn't really get cool. I am noticing this near the blower, I haven't checked it near the condensing unit. I get plenty of condensation running out of the drain (a constant stream). When it's 87 outside (85 inside), I can get a local register nearest the unit to 72 (same room as the thermostat) and a remote register (upstairs) to 74. The room the thermostat is in took a long time to budge even one degree. We didn't turn on the AC until it was very hot in the house (85-86 inside).

Advise?

Big copper line not cold and wet. Noise in small line. If filter and coil clean blower ok then it for sure is low on freon. For temp drop on a unit you have to be on both sides of the coil .A 16o to20o drop is good.
