I need help. I have a very old all wood Armoire that has Nicotine on it and I tried Furniture Polish, but it just took some of it off, and now it's not real shiny any more.
Any suggestions how to get it back to original again?
I have the whole set to do, and the easiest route would be appreciated. Also just a note: I am sensative to chemicals, but willing to do what must be done to restore this beautiful furniture.
Nicotine Removal Help Needed: ASAP!

A commercial furniture restoration product designed to do the job will be most effective. This should remove nicotine, wax, polish, and dust build up. Check at your local home center for such a product. Always check any DIY method first in inconspicuous place first for ill effects on finish.
