I have a Heat-N-Glo gas log stove (model Bay Side) and need to move it temporarily to have new floor covering put in. It is vented with a simple vertical vent pipe up through the roof. I was wondering how I can get the necessary vertical clearance to move the vent pipe out of the way to slide the heater out from under it. There is a joint in the vent pipe approximately 4 feet from the top of the stove. I can twist this to remove it, but it would have to drop down in order for me to have the necessary clearance. Can anyone give me some ideas, or am I just gonna have to remove it all the way to the roof and start over when I reinstall it?

Thanks very much!!
