I just noticed a pen mark/line on our tan leather couch. It is pretty noticable. I tried to clean it with the liquid cleaner the company provided but it did not work. Is there anything else out there that can SAFELY (without damaging or tearing the leather) remove the stain? PLEASE HELP!!

Solvent cleaners are typically used for ink stain removal. Solvents should not be used on leather as they tend to make leather brittle. Too, solvent would likely affect dye in leather.
There are manufacturers of leather cleaners who offer ink and stain remover products such as Leather Magic. Should you opt to DIY, test any cleaner first in inconspicuous place for ill effects.
Professional leather cleaner is recommended for leather upholstery. There are many different types of leather, finishes, and dyes used for leather upholstery.

Twelvepole's right about hiring a pro for this - the best solvent for ink is usually alcohol, which is horrible for leather.
