can anyone help?!
i've just tried to replace a bog standard celing light with some bog standard (well, dimmable, but i'm not using a dimmer) cheap spotlights, the dilemma i'm having is this: after wiring the spot lights up, the blasted things wont turn off (unless i turn the lights off at the fuse box). i am really confused, apparently, we have some kind of loop system in the wiring (as it runs along the ceiling into the bathroom). i'm really not an electrical expert and am probably missing something really obvious here, but does anyone know why they wont turn off?
thanks

Did the old lights turn off? Did you hook the new lights up to the very same wires the old lights were on?
Do you know what a 3 way switch is? Does this room utilize them?
How many and what color wires are in the box you attached the light to?
We need details vikki. The more the merrier.
The new dimmable lights; are they flourescent by chance? How many wires does the light fixture have and what color are they?
