We have a Mitsubishi big screen tv and I can only get it to go between input A and input B. We have several inputs and I need to be able to use them. The problem started lastnight after we had a bad rainstorm and the power went out. I've unplugged the tv and all the connections and nothing seems to help. Any ideas on how to solve the problem?

Try going into the setup menu and see if the other inputs have been disabled or turned off. I have a mitsubishi 48" and I can manually turn them on or off. If it says they are turned on, but you still can not access them, there may be a problem with the board controlling those inputs. Since you say it happened after a rainstorm, you may have gotten hit by a surge.

Good luck,

Thank you for replying. When I went into the setup menu it only shows input A and B when I use the arrows to scroll. Is there somewhere that shows all the inputs so I can see if they are off or on? Earlier when I turned on the DVD player it allowed me to go to Video 2 and now I can watch the satalite if I have the DVD player turned on but I cannot turn the volume on the tv up because all I will hear is static so I have to use the surround sound. This is driving me crazy!:wall:

Depending on how old your Mitsi is, it should be under menu, then under setup, then under input assignment. Under input assignment is where all of the listing for the inputs are and where you can turn them off or on. If your tv is older than 4 yrs, I don't know if you have that feature. If you're hearing static through the speakers where there should be sound, you may have a hardware failure on your TV somewhere.

Hope that helps,

Stuntman

When I go to setup my only choices from there are memorize channels, clock time, set day, AV Connection (Home Theater) and Language. When I select Memorize Channels and scroll to the right I can only change it from Ant-B and Ant-A. The reason I hear static from the TV is because the TV is on Ant-A or Ant-B (I'm going thru the DVD player to watch the satelite) and nothing is going through those Ant's so it just sounds the static.
The TV is older than 4 years and less than about 9yrs; not sure how old exactly. I wouldn't even know how to get it into service mode; I do not see that option in menu.
