I have a diesel burning furnace for heating. A bird's nest blocked the flue and the interior of my garage has been coated with soot. How can I clean it?

Amen, they remove stuff from walls, bricks, mantels, etc. without the use of water. I don't know how, and I don't question it. I think I got mine at the orange big box.

The soot sponge is also called a dry sponge. It is used dry and works like a giant eraser to remove soot.
