I have the ones with the vertical s shape designs light fixture holder attached chandeliers. The s broke, and I want to try glue it, I believe it was glued before and the seal broke because someone was cleaning the thing and didn't know that certain chemicals can break the seal. I have to take the chandelier down to do this. It's plastic glass. I have gorilla glue and crazy glue at the house, can I use one of these to glue it together or do I have to go epoxy?

Thanks in advance,
Sam

Did the s break, or did it come loose from the main shaft? We are having to imagine what you can see.

the s is broke, not loose from the main shaft its secured at the main shaft, about 3 1/2 inches from the main shaft is where the break is.

No larger than the diameter is on the tubing, I would use something like super glue. The epoxy will be too thick, and won't allow for full pull together. You will have to apply good pressure after you put the glue on, so be prepared. Once it is glued, it should give you good service. Is there a wire running through the tubing?

yeah there is a wire running through the tube, I thought I could take the tube down from the shaft to work on it alone, but I believe I have to take the whole chandelier down, which menas disconnecting wires from the ceiling I know nothing about, but from reading material on this website, sounds straightfoward and simple.
