I have a really high ceiling in the entrance above the stairs in my house. Does shur-line ceiling edger product worty buying it? Does it work well? thanks.

I have not used it myself, I prefer and recommend using a brush for cutting in if at all possible
However, the non-pros in my family have used it
They say it can be effective, but it is easily overwhelmed by paint, and then the wheel spreads a line of walls paint on the ceiling
They do say, with the proper care, it might be used effectively in tough spots
