Hi, I have a 3Bulb florecent light fixture that seems to have a current going through the ballast to the sockets. But no lite comes on. Is my wiring incorrect. blk and white to celeing wires and already gounded. 2 yellows go to one side of the three sockets
2reds and 1 blue go to the other 3 sockets. Theere is one extra blue wire from the ballast that doesnt go to anything. should this be connected to the yellow wired sockets too? There is a current going to both ends of the sockets (all 3). Is it not wired right or is it possibly the wrong kind of ballast? I have replaced the ballast and sockets( 2 were bad)
Thanks for your help.
Jonathan

There should be a list right on the ballast as to what size and how many lamps it is designed to power. It sounds like you have a 2 lamp ballast.
Post the manuf. and part number
One other thing to check is if you replaced any of the sockets, did you use shunted or non-shunted sockets?
