Just had saltillo tile installed in parts of our home.Before I seal it ,there are some white flecks and spots that looks like where paint may have splashed.What can I do to remove them before I seal the tile and grout?I've tried paint thiner on a rag but didn't have any luck.Tried light sanding, still no luck.Any one have an answer?Thx,Cecil.

Perhaps a razor blade scraper could be used to pop off paint specks. There are products like Oops and Goof Off that could be used. Wipe from outside toward middle of stain to prevent spreading. There are also latex paint removers and paint strippers available.

Whatever you try, test on a scrap piece first or on one spot, it could get worse, unsealed saltillo is like a spoge, it soaked in the paint, next time, cover any floors before painting.
