I have a ceiling fan that turns on the light BY ITSELF! It also turns off the fan BY ITSELF! It started 2 days ago when we had a real hot spell,temps in the 90's. Could that have anything to do with it? It’s a Harbor breeze and its 6 yrs old. There is no remote involved. It is controlled by a wall switch that has a push button to turn the light on and off, 3 for fan speeds and fan off. OBTW,I live about 50 yards from an Odd Fellows cemetery.

Have you tried replacing the switch.

Last time I checked ghost weren't electricians
