We are pouring our slab foundation which will also be our finished floor. We are doing everything ourselves. I have to decide on the scoring pattern for the concrete floor throughout the house. The foundation is on bedrock so we are not too concerned with settling issues.
Here are my questions:

1) Do we definitely need to score the concrete to prevent cracking?
2) If we do, what is the largest grid/pattern we should consider?
