I have a room where someone was an idiot punk and spray painted all on the walls (graffiti). I was wondering what is the best way of handling a repainting job. I know latex doesn’t do well straight on spray paint. Is there a primer I can use? What are my options/best options? I need some advice from some smart painters, anyone? Thanks! :)

You will need to use an oil based stain blocking primer.Zinsser makes a top quality product and Kilz is adequate. Also most paint lines have a version within it.Once primed any top coat including latex will work fine.Go to a hardware store or paint store for qualified help where they can tailor your purchases to your needs and give you good advice.
