I need to replace three bathroom switches. They are in the same box, each operating different items. An over the sink light, a ceiling fan and a ceiling light. The old switches did not have ground wire screws. There is a green ground wire in the box with two bare wires wrapped around it and capped. Can I put the new switches in and just remove the green ground wire screws from the new switch? OR do I need to attach the existing ground wires to the ground wire screws on the new switches? Please accept my thanks in advance.

If the switch has a ground screw you need to connect the green or bare wire to each switch.
