I'm trying to hook up a ceiling fan in my new screened porch
. The box in the porch has a white, yellow and red wire coming out. The fan has a white, black and a black striped wire coming out.

Can someone tell me which goes to which. I know the wall has a switch for the fan and light. i forgot to mention , the fan has a light kit.

Try this
white to white
yellow to black
red to black/white stirpe

If the swtiches work reversed from what you want then reverse the red and yellow wire connections,
