:wall: The saddle valve turns closed tightly but a small amount of water still runs. Can I tighten the packing nut? Help........

A packing nut on a valve is just used to tighten the packing within the valve body itself. The one thing you can try is to actually loosen the acking nut slightly and see if you can get the stem to close any more. If the nut was tight in the first place it is possible that it is restricting the valve from closing completely. If that does not take care of it then it means that the seat in the valve where the pin sits into has been compromised and it would be time for a new valve. Suggestion would be a ball style vave as they are less apt to fail over time.:thumbup:
