My place has been getting really hot recently but as I rent I cant install a fixed aircon unit. Are the modile ones that vent out of the windows any good. I live in the UK so can anyone suggest a decent make that I can get? I would ideally like something as cheap as possible but just want an idea of gd makes. I think I need about a 5000BTU unit.

And also are there different types of mobile ones and which are better?

Id look unto the small window units they make. They work better and you can slip them in and out of a window. Hope they have them there in the UK
