Anything wrong with leaving a plastic bottle of Tide with Downy sitting in direct sunlight? I mean, not superheated and melting the bottle or anything, rather, could this adversely affect the detergent itself in any way? I am thinking NO, since detergent in hot water doesn't go "bad" or ruin clothes..........curious is all..........:wall:

Some chemicals off gas when exposed to constant heat or pressure. This may cause expansion of the storage contaner and possible leakage. I would advise against it. Check to see if the container has a storage temp limit most will say store between such and such.
