Just trasplanted a rose plant in my front garden about 3 weeks ago. I had a case of white fly last weekend so I sprayed some malathion. Now the leaves on the lower portion of the rose are wilting and falling off. Is this from the malathion? I don't want to lose the rose completly. Any suggestions would help.

Hi lbphathead,
Whitflies tend to attack weakened plants, then you sprayed with a strong and toxic insecticide and then you transplanted. I'd wilt too.
Use an insecticidal soap if you see any more whitefly every two days until they appear to be gone. Then spray every 10 days for a month to get the eggs as they hatch. Water with compost tea or seaweed fertilizer mixed with fish emulsion to strengthen your plant.

Water with compost tea or seaweed fertilizer mixed with fish emulsion to strengthen your plant. You can even use the compost tea as a foliar spray. See the links I gave you. :)
