I have got my bike damaged on May 10 this year. On 16th May the adjuster visited me and the dealer shop gave an estimate worth $3400.00 on the damages, also $1500 on accessories and an additional $2000.00 for the bent new frame. The book value of my bike stood at $5700. The day before yesterday the adjuster again called my place again and let me know that the insurance company is not too sure as to whether the frame is damaged or not , and as a result they are gonna pay me back an amount worth $2700 only. That’s why I’m a bit confused since I’m not too sure as to where I am heading ! Plz suggest me a way out of this situation.

How much is your deductible? Did the damage estimate of 3400 include the frame? Did you have coverage for non factory accesories and was it the same deductible ?
