I just bought a 2300 sq. ft. centry home its fully insulated and am replaceing old windows . I had an add on wood burner in my last house that wooked well, but I've been looking at the outdoor wood burners, it would be nice not to have the dirt inside the house from an indoor woodburner, but the cost of an outdoor furnace is alot more exspensive, and I,ve heard that they don't last as long. Some are made with boiler plate, some are made with stainless. Is there anyone out here who has one or knows the good or bad about them? Also becase they use hot water to heat with, the coil goes in your FA furnace, can you still put central air in also? Thanks for any help. Jeff

About all I can tell you about them is the local dealer is quite busy putting them in. The hot water coil would likely have to go in the main duct(s) unless the A/C is moved to the duct. You may have to upgrade the blower in the furnace to handle the extra restriction of the heating & cooling coils.
