A few years ago I converted my Whirlpool dryer LGC7848DQ0 from Natural to Propane Gas. I kept the orifice and with it I have 2 other parts - a brass piece that looks similar to an orifice but with a hole 90 degrees to the thread end and a white disc. I now want to convert back to Natural Gas. Do I need to use these other 2 parts and if so, for what ? Do I have to do something with the regulator ?

Hello r0b. Welcome to my Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
I'm not exactly sure what the angle plastic part is???

However, suffice it to say yes, all original parts must be reinstalled back where they where to complete the conversion.
May be best to remove the entire gas control valve, take it to any local appliance parts store. Dealers are listed in the phone book under appliances. Ask where the parts get reinstalled. Failure to fully and or completely convert the control back to original will create some type of problem(s).
Conversion information can be found in the dryer sticky here (http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?t=159481)
Be sure the electrical power to the appliance is turned off, before attempting any repairs or services. Always check for gas leaks whenever moving the appliance and/or a service or repair includes any connection of a gas part.

It's always advisable to clean the entire exhaust venting system every 2 years. Or during any dryer maintenance and or repairs.

Thanks - I think that the brass piece I have is the regulator - but what is the white plastic disc and where does it go ? It is about the size of a penny and is comprised of a metal disc at the bottom with a central hole, then a white top with a protuding nozzle at the top centre and a band of holes around the edge - if you give me your emaail I can mail a photo. I live in the UK so can't go to a local store as they'd not be familiar with US appliances. Many thanks, Rob.
