hello. i am a college student and know pretty much nothing about curtains, drapes, etc. anyway, im going to be living in the living room so i wanted to make a curtain wall for privacy. my problem is that the room is 17 feet long and i cant find a rod that long. any suggestions? also, what can i put at the ends of the wall to hold the rod up?

I think a tension wire system or ceiling trak system would be your best bet. If there are any Ikea's near you, you could get them there (they're only available in the store), or JC Penney's sells the ceiling trak or do a google for "drapery tension wire" for places online.
