Is there a secret to removing the sliders (I don't know if that's really what you call them ... the plastic holders for the pins that are inside a traverse rod). I've got several broken ones thanks to my puppy and need to replace them. Thanks

There's a lock at the inside of each end of the rod.

Thanks.. found it. This is an old custom-made rod and I couldn't take it down. Not sure it was worth it... I just fell off the step ladder! :(
