Help,
I think I may have bigger problem than I originally thought..
Last year, in May I turned off on my thermostat the heater, which worked fine, then couple of weeks later turned my thermostat to air. The air won't come on nor the fan. I switched the thermostat to heat just to see if it would work but nothing came on. Not even the blower would work. We first changed the circuit board on the furnace but nothing worked. Then we changed the transformer. That worked, and the furnace worked. By the time we got around fixing the transformer, we didn't need the air anymore. So, we didn't check to see if the air came on but since the furnace and the blower was working fine, we figured it was fixed. The heater worked fine all winter, and once again this spring we turn the thermostat to turn off the heater and couple of weeks later switched to air. Once again, no air, no blower, and no heater. Same symptom as last year. Could there be some type of electrical problem? What could possibly be the problem???
