I purchased 5 hydrangeas from a greenhouse recently. They had finished flowering and plants look really healthy. I don't know what type of envirenment they need. Facing which direction? sun? shade? chemicals? pruning? or general care tips. I just jumped in and bought them now if someone could tell me what to do with them I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

It depends a lot on what variety they are. Most hydrangeas, however, prefer a few hours of morning sun and afternoon shade.

Once established, you will find hydrangeas are relatively care-free. All species need moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic material. Regular watering is important when weather is dry for long periods.
