I have a 5,000 btu whirlpool window unit, it ran flawlessly for 1 year,now when i turn it on the compressor kicks on and blows cold air for bout 10 seconds then kicks off again then 2 minutes later on again! The air is ice cold when it kicks on so I dont think it is comp, do u think it could be capacitor or something else/ I have unit apart found no burnt wires and thermostat clicks when turned any reply would be appreciated!!
