We just renovated our bath and shower, I caulked all around the tub and the wall kit we installed. My question is how long does it take caulking to cure it has been over 36 hours and the caulking is still tacky? Can I use the shower if the caulking is tacky or should I leave it until it is fully cured.
Thank you for any information you can give me.

mgray, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
My guess would be that the room has high humidity. This is preventing the caulk from curing fully. Most, take less than 24 hours before being used in a wet environment. I would not use the shower before it is dry. All you will be doing is prolonging the process. Did the caulk have instructions saying to knead the tube before using? Some of the soft tubes do because it mixes all the ingredients before use that may have seperated. Good luck.

Thank you for your reply
to answer your question no there were no instructions to knead
\I used Mono Ultra kitchen and bath.
Could I have used too much? Is there a way to speed up the process? (like a fan) I am grasping at straws this has been a lengthy process and I just want it done.
Again Thank you for any information.

You could put a fan in the room to circulate air but don't aim it directly at the caulk. This would dry the top and cause it to "skin over" but still leave the inside of the bead wet.
