I just noticed that my kids drew with ball point pen on the dash board of my car. I tried hairspray, but it didn't do anything. I don't want to ruin the dash board, but would like to get the pen out. Any suggestions would help. Thanks!

rubbing alcohol applied to a rag and gently rubbing it should work.....dust off the dash first
the alcohol will remove any protectant applied..so you will have to reapply that afterwards
if the alcohol doesnt work...try wd-40 on a rag and then rinse the wd-40 off with alcohol

It is often difficult to remove ball point ink from vinyl because vinyl is porous and absorbent. If rubbing alcohol or WD-40 do not remove the ink, the stain is likely permanent.
