Help I recently install a new tub in my mother-inlaw master bathroom Now the tub has not been in use for awhile....Maybe a few years but anyway thanks to me she has a new bathroom.Ok I can't figure this out the sink is fine when I turn on the water but every time we turn on the tub or shower water the first lets sat pint of water is rust color then its fine....Is there anyway to stop that?

It will probably go away with time. Most likely the only piece of iron pipe in your entire system is the piece from the mixing valve to the spout. Rust will form inside this pipe, so when you run water through it, it rinses itself, and thus the rusty colored water for a nano-second. You could replace the spout pipe with a new one, but it is a pita, if it is rusted in or difficult to turn. Shouldn't last long, however.
