Folks:

I just purchased a new home and am looking for flooring companies for getting hardwood installed. Has any of used a company in the past that you guys would like to recommend? How was their service and installation. Did they do a good job to match what builder installed in foyer (since many builders provide wood in foyer as standard). Thanks!

Your best bet is to purchase your own flooring at the place of your choice, but interview and pick & choose your own installer, that will be handling your investment. Floor store are going to subcontract out the labor, and it's best you get to choose who, with references, not the next guy in line that the retailer has available. You may like his craftsmanship, then again, you may not.
