the name says it all, my kids got nail polish on my tub today, before dinner, and we found it a little while ago. How do I remove it without damaging the tub? Thanks in advance!!!!

I depends on the tub. Lighter fluid is a favorite to remove nail polish but I would try it on a small out of the way place to see if it is damaging to the tub surface. Have you tried nail polish remover? What does it do to the tub surface?

Any idea what the tub is made of?

If in doubt about effects of acetone nail polish remover on surface, you can test first in inconspicous area or use nonacetone remover.

If the polish is thick enough, I'd try chipping it off with a fingernail or plastic scraper first.
