Our painting contractor started spraying primer yesterday in a new house we are building.Within a few hours the drywall started turning a light shade of pink. Not every board and not on the sheetrock mud. The painter and a couple of other subs have heard of this happening a few months ago.USGyspen is meeting with the painter tomorrow.Has anyone else heard of this.

I ran into this problem once or twice before about 20 yr ago. I believe they said it was from using recycled paper. I don't remember if we had to reprime with a different primer or not but would expect that a stain sealing primer would be needed.
