I have a Kenmore Washer Series 110 92480200, Serial No. CE3673896, Stock 24802 that will agitate with the lid open or closed in both the wash and rinse cycles, but it will not drain or spin. The hose is not clogged and the pump seems fine. What else could it be and could we fix it ourselves?

I'm about 99.9% sure it is your lid switch. See if you hear a click when you open and shut the lid.

maytagman - So what you are saying is that since the lid switch does not engage when I close the lid the washer won't enter the drain or spin cycles? Thanks I will check that out. -

That's right, whirlpool/kenmore will fill and agitate, with the lid up, but will not spin or drain. The newer washers, last couple years, need the lid down to agitate now also. Let me know what you find. It is a pretty easy fix if that is what it is. Many have had the mounting area of the switch crack and the switch drops down and the acuator on the lid doesn't get the switch closed.
