i put my clothes in the wash and my pink shirt and all my white shirts come out witha light brown stain mainly on the back of the shirt right in the middle or around the neck area. I try all kind of stain removers and they don't come out. I found a penny this time in the wash and i don't know if that is what caused it. The color is light brown kinda of leathery lookin color. If anyone knows what this is and how to stop it or remove it from clothing please let me know thanks tina

There are laundry products available such as Iron Out to remove mineral deposit stains.

When I lived in fla with a well that had a high iron content I found it usefull to run the whites through the washer with a packet of white dye once a month. As a painter wearing white work clothes everyday this helped me to look more professional

Do the stains look like a crescent or a line? I am getting that from my Whirlpool dryer. Whirlpool is having trouble fixing the problem.

What specifically does Whirlpool say is wrong with the dryer that causes stains on laundry?
