Can you place an undermount sink flush to the countertop?

Not saying it can't be done but have never seen it done. Most undermounts are on a "stonetype" countertop so there is not worry about water seepage and damage. They are sealed under the counter. If your countertop is wood, you would have a hard time making a seal that would "positively" not allow water to get to the wood. Good luck.
Could you post the reason you want to do this? Thanks.

I'm planning go use a granite countertop for the SS sink. The reason I wanted to install is flesh with the counter top is because it's an apron front sink. However, the apron part appears to runs futher down the base cabinet to create a problem for opening the cabinet. Thanks

I don't think you wil be happy trying to flush mount an undermount sink. You end up losing the advantage of having the undermount and you're probably going to have problems with sealing the joint.
Can you tweak the sink base cabinet to get it to fit? You can build a new face frame for the cabinet that will accomodate the sink.

So I should be able to reconstructed the face frame that it won't interfere with me opening up the cabinet doors. Thanks
