I was woken last night to an audible singal from my alarm control panel and found the trouble light illuminated. I tried to test the system by making it go to alarm and still my trouble light is on. The alarm automatically contacts my mobile and I can communicate by this method, so the communication part is OK.
Any ideas

Press *2 and compare the codes to your user manual. Most likely, it's the backup battery.
