When putting down a floating laminate floor over a slab, is it necessary to use a (6 mil?) vapor barrier if the concrete has already been sealed with one of those "paint-down" sealer applications?
Should I just lessen the thickness of the V.B. when using both, or forget the "paint-down" and just use a full-thickness V.B.?

Does it matter?

Thank you

Use the plastic!!!!! tape the seams with clear packing tape, not duct tape or masking tape. and don't puncture it, and if you do seal the puncture with clear packing tape.
