14 year old Inglis Self clean oven...Following a self clean we have a few problems with the stove. The bottom element stopped working. We tested continuity with an electric tester and it seems to be no different than the other elements. (resistance in OHMS) The "low" indicator does not appear when turning on the oven to bake yet after 30 seconds or so it "beeps" as though it has reached it's temperature. In addition, the broiler stopped working for a while and started again after unplugging stove and replugging. The element around the convection fan also does not seem to work. Could it be the thermostat or the electronics that are deffective?

Sounds like the temp sensor or the electronic range control (ERC)
Always check the sensor resistance before you replace the ERC.

If temp sensor is OK then it is the ERC .If your ERC is no longer available new you can get it repaired at Stove Clock Repair
