Hello Everyone:
I do not have knowlege or the words to exactly decribe my post, but I will try anyway.
The Gas house heater has a discharge of water that drips constantly into the laundry tub during the winter, and there is a turn off (switch for summer and winter) If I turn this to the summer settng, the water stops dripping into the tub.
What I would like to know, should I stop this dripping in the summer when the heater is not on? Will it clog up and not drip when I need it to do so when I turn it back on for the winter?
And if it did clog, how do I unclog it? Thanks, Tom

Sounds like a humidifier to me. Turn it to off!

Airman.1994: Yes it is for the humidifier, some one told me to leave it drip all summer and it will keep it from clogging. If I shut it off and it clogs, is it hard to get it to drip again?

If you have a/c, they may share the same drain. I would not worry about plugging, unless your coil/filters are not clean. On most good install, there should be a clean out where you can run water down the drain to keep it clean.
