I ordered a part #3389946 for my Roper dryer from Lowes. They sent me a part #3977394 which is the replacement part, however, they failed to mention how to put it in. The only similarity between the two parts is that they both have two points to connest the wires to. If anyone knowes how to properly install this part the help would be greatly apprecieated

It is the same thing. The old one may be a white thermostat that is square and the new one is a round one, but it will work fine.
