Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made posts here and everyone that answered the posts that I made. I got through laying laminate flooring tonight throughout the house, approximately 1600 sq. ft. For the most part I love how it has turned out. There are a couple of spots around a couple of door jams that I did early on that I will have to touch up with a little bit of colored silicone, but other than that I love it. Between this posting board and a couple of other resources I was able to figure out how to best handle the door jams. I was not able to post the image that I wanted to, but essentially you have to remove the ledge of the groove with either a utility knife or a finger planar, and you can slide the two together without having to come in at the angle. The biggest thing that you have to remember to do in removing the ledge is to use laminate glue to ensure the boards fasten to one another. All I have left to do is lay the quarter round down and get the stairs done. Thanks again to all!!! :D :D
