Any idea what to use to remove nicotine stains from brick. I have tried everything on the brick, and parts of it are still yellow on our fireplace.

I like mineral spirits for nicotine stains. Brick and cement are porous and the stain may have penetrated into them, making removal difficult.

There are also soot cleaners available at local hearth stores and home centers as well as masonry cleaners.
