i have a kenmore washer model#110.48182790(compact two speed automatic)

i put two small rugs in the washer and one of them had some kind of material on it that came off in the machine. i'm guessing it clogged something,but i'm not sure. it won't pump out any water or spin. it agitates fine.(belt drive) i'm thinking some possibilities could be a burned out timer or solenoid but it's simply just a guess. i checked all the hoses and their fine. i got out pretty much all of the stuff that came off the rug-i think. i'm new to the site and i'd really appreciate any help you can give me

Joe,

You will have to dip out as much water as you can and tip machine back to remove pump and get that pieces out.... the washer wont spin unless water is drained... after cleaning it set to spin and try... if spins fill up to 1st level and then spn that out to ensure pump is working
