i have a kenmore washer model#11048182790(compact two speed automatic)

i washed two rugs and one of them had some kind of material on it that came off in the machine. it was agitating fine but would not pump out the water or spin. i turned the knob manually to spin cycle but it just makes a brrrrr sound. i checked all the hoses and their fine. it is a belt drive. i had the washer on for at least an hour so i'm thinking i may have burned out the timer or the solenoid. i'd really appreciate any help you can give me. i'm new to the site.

this shld be a quick fix.... dip out as much water as you can... tip unit back to see pump .. remove pump hoses and then pump .. clean out those things that came off rug... re-install ump and hose and try .... should take care of it... be careful as you will lose more water when you take off the hoses...
