Greeting;
I'm about to begin installing glueless laminate on the upstairs level of a split foyer home. The upstairs has a walkway that allows looking down on the entryway. The upstairs walkway will have laminate laid down. I want laminate to extend from the upstairs wall to the laminate nose at the edges (overlook) of the walkway. I'm thinking that the laminate nose will be underneath the (new) base of the (new) upstairs railing. That is, laminate (including nose) will run underneath the new stair rail base. Is this the way to do it? I suspected that the laminate should have continuity to the edge of the upstairs overlook. Whhat is conventional or advised? Please advise, as I need the laminate and stair rail installations synchronized. Thanks
Mike
