A couple of months ago my wife had a serivce tech out to the house to repair a problem with our refrigerator not cooling properly. I wasn't home at the time but from the info I gathered from her sounds like the compressor wasnt't starting.
The service tech completely cut out the Run Capicitor/relay/overload device and replaced it with a 3in1 SUPCO RC0410 Start Capicitor/relay/overload device. Seemed to work ok for a couple of months.
On Saturday the fridge quit working again, the compressor would start buzzing every couple of minutes then kick off. The service tech that came out (from a different company than the original repair) told me that the tech from the original repair should have wired a Run Capicitor in line with the SUPCO RC0410 Start Capicitor/relay/overload device and this is why the compressor went bad. I guess this makes sense to me but I need some advice from a pro.
Any help would be appreciated... Thanks.
