I have a side by side Fridge....the Freezer part is working great...but it seems as if the Fridge part isnt cooling right....

There is a small hole at the bottom left side...just inside the door that has an adjustment that seems to let cool air from the freezer into the fridge ......should i leave that opening closed or open....

hope this make sense...any help would be greatly appreciated....

The refrigerator part does not have any cooling mechanisms of it's own. It is cooled through that opening from the freezer. The amount of cooling is regulated by how much that opening is open or closed.

Open it.

All the cold air comes from the freezer. Open that flap to let the cold air into the food compartment. This is how you adjust the temp balance between the two compartments. Get a couple fridge thermometers. The freezer should be at 0 F and the food should be at 36-40 F. It takes about 12 hours to stabalize before you make adjustments.
