OK - I've got it cut and screwed, glued and nailed down. I'm getting ready to tape and mud (thinset) the joints when it dawned on me that I don't know how to do an outside corner. Should I use corner bead, or do I need to use anything? The outside corners will be tiled.

the outside corners that wont be tiled and will show need corner bead. Use plastic bead, it wont rust. If it is going to be tiled don't do anything.
